I see you have a few warbird videos you've done.

I'll be having a look at those, especially this one:

I did a lot of beta testing for Pete on the Sea Fury,I flew a private display for him
so that he could see what it looked like in action,so to speak.

Yes,the Sea Fury is nice, one of Leif's favorites too.
Thanks for your comments on it.
Shows I did my homework and Pete put it in.

It displays well using 2650 and +4,you can pull some nice tight turns,
good topsides and stay easily within the airfield's viewing range.
I found it will display better than a Spit IX or XVI(though not quite as good as
a light XIX).
Very easy to get back onto and hold the display line too.

A bit on the "hot"side to land though(until you get the hang of it).
Difficult to slow down on the circuit at first(I was more used to Spits at the time),
I was using about 2700 rpm and 0 boost on the downwind with the flaps and undercart down
but was struggling to get below 140kias,the airframe is so clean.

Soon figured that if you pulled up off display on your last pass letting your speed
drop off then dropped the flaps and undercart, pulling back to 3000rpm and -2 boost
it'd then go below 140 so that you could lower more flap on the downwind.

You can then fly a usual curving approach through crosswind and finals, over
the hedge at about 90 to touch down at about 80-85.

Pete then sent me a copy of the PN's and that confirmed that what I'd figured
was correct !!!.

I had it bouncing all over the place at first though when I landed it

I gotta say in the real world i think the Sea fury is one of the all tome greats, as for the video i did of it thatnx for the nice comments and thanx for the tips on landing. I did find it a bit hard to land but thats what i like in my flightsim aircraft, if they were to easy then where is the fun.

Just to let you know ive taken onboard your request for some British aircraft videos and have come up with 2 choices, one is the RAFs current jet trainer the Hawk and all i need is a current display repaint for it or maybe i will do the 2010 repain i think that one is more pretty.
The other idea i have is the Avro Vulcan, i have the Iris XH558 the only problem is the sound i cant hear the howl but if that was solved then i would do that one aswell, if you have any ideas anout the sound or where i could download a proper sound for it then they would help very much.

I learned to fly fighters in the same way that those who flew them for "real" did.

Tiger Moth-Harvard-Fighter.

I also chatted to as many current Spit,Hurri,Mustang pilots as I could(the BBMF fighter pilots were
most helpful)about the handling characteristics of these fabulous machines.

They all have their little idiosyncrasies that have to be learned if you're going to
fly and display them properly on flightsim.

I always use full crash detect and realism(98%)settings,live rudder and whatever else I need
to do it correctly.
