New computer - reinstalling AI question 4 years 1 hour ago #34752

Gents,

I'm finally up and running with my new box - and it is sweet! Did a short flight last night with the L-49A and it went well.

I have a bunch of work in front of me installing all the aircraft, etc that I had on my old machine. Regarding the AI aircraft, I saved all the folders from my previous FS9 install. Can I just drop them into the new install?

Cheers,
Scott

I've done that..drop the folder in and of course any effects and guages.

I just saved that before the re install.

Scenery needs to be installed but aircraft are OK

Pretty much think you can Scott, provided of course you copy any
extra textures("Textures"folder),effects and gauges with them too.

If you've saved the AI flightplans bgl.,you can drop that in too and
then run TTools to make sure the plans are all installed nicely.

Thanks for the info. Starting Thurs I have a stretch of days off from work. I'll be tweaking things then.
