Welcome and thank you for taking a minute to look at Venture Hawaii. You may be asking, "how is Venture Hawaii different from other VA's?" That's a good question. We are different for a few reasons. First, we are loosely modeled after a mid- to late-1970's "second-tier" airline that flies aircraft that have moved out of first-line service on mainly regional and tourist routes. As such, most of our equipment is of British or European design (Hawker-Siddeley, Vickers, deHavilland, Fokker) with a few US and Canadian designs thrown into the mix. Second, most of our routes can be flown in under 3 hours, making it easy to fly in "realtime" for most people during their evening free time. Finally, we use the FSAirlines (www.fsairlines.net) virtual economic system to run our VA. This gives an additional layer of realism to your flights without making it too hard to complete for a profit. Our routes are specifically designed so that whether you choose to take a full load of fuel or properly plan to only carry the amount of fuel needed with reserves, you still should make a profit on most of our flights.

Our operations are divided into several "Divisions". These divisions are -

Venture Hawaii - Our Hawaiian operation mainly flying inter-island and tourist flights in the 50th State. All pilots will do their initial training here.

Venture America - Our US operation that encompasses 3 main hubs - Las Vegas, NV; Jamestown, ND; and Juneau, AK. We have additional operations out of Miami that connects to our South American operation and cargo operations from Fairbanks.

Venture Oceana - Our Western Pacific operation, we have several areas of operation. Our Indonesian operation is based out of Jakarta, our Australian operation based out of Brisbane, our New Zealand operation based out of Aukland, our Samoan operation, and our Soloman Island operation. Most of these operations are local flights that concentrate on serving the smaller airports in the region with appropriately sized aircraft with a few trunk services to link the major airports.

Venture European - Our European operation mainly flown out of the former Aalbourg AB in the Netherlands, we have additional operations out of Stansted in England serving many of the European Holiday destinations.

Venture Safari - A small operation based out of Nairobi, Kenya, Venture Safari is designed to link European tourists to Central Africa. Most of our flights are geared towards getting people from Europe to Kenya, and then out to the various destinations from there.

Venture World Cargo - Our long-range cargo and Military Logair operation, we have flights around the world, serving both major cargo trunk lines and both US and British military bases. If you like cargo with interesting destinations and aircraft, this is where you'll find a good fit.

One final note, we don't restrict anyone to any specific fleet. You can move around as much as you like, we just ask that you complete any flight series you start so that our planes end up (eventually) where they started. Otherwise, if you want to fly one day in Hawaii and the next in Europe, you're more than welcome to do it.

If you have any additional questions, just post here or a new thread!
