Perfect. I have Arromanches and had got as far as changing the deck letter, but only by day as I didn't know about night textures. This will save me a lot of trouble.

Rats! Why won't anything work properly first time?
I hadn't even realised that the aerials would need changing as well. I made a very half hearted attempt on the flag, and as for those red bobbles - Bonjour, matelot!
So far I've only succeeded in crashing a Seafire, but I'm getting there.

I know very little about these things, but I think that the aerials are R95-g and R95-h, with the model calling up one for daytime and the other for night, as with the "normal" and _L textures.
The more carriers we can have the better - the RN is very poorly represented, I think, with, as far as I know, only an Ark Royal pack, the Arromanches repaint and the "Inscrutable" in the Sea Hurricane download.

I don't think it would be very easy - one had a side lift. But I agree about a fifties/sixties carrier force, with Hermes and Victorious, and the Albions before conversion.

A Colossus Carrier Group would have only taken Joel Maillot (the builder) 10 mins to adjust the postion of the bgls. 30 min if he had wanted to alter the models to get three seperate Colossus Class in one scenery folder. Then maybe a hour or so to make the texture changes.
But I suppose he just wanted to model the Arromanches, being a Frenchman and theres nothing wrong with that, hats off to him for producing an absolutely outstanding model. Now its a little too much time & effort for him to dig out his development files and modify it.

The chances of someone else being able to build another Colossus Class in the next few years is almost nil so I suppose we have to be happy with what we have got.
