For almost three years now
Rob English has graciously provided this site and service to those of you who love
old british aircraft at no cost. He pays for its upkeep from his own pocket, not even asking hisadministrators to contribute. Yes you can find many of the downloads here at others sites. But there are some that are exclusive to us. This is not to say that the authors would post them on other sites if we were to disappear, but the friendly, "local pub"atmosphere would not be there. We have over 1500 registered members at the site, and are visited by three times by folks who havn't registered. Rob has never asked for payment before,nor has even considered it , nor will he ever have "Paid membership,Privelged or VIP" or whatever the other sites call it. Everyone gets the same treatment , all downloads are at the same speed. Now due to the economics times, and the fact that the site has become so popular plus as Rob says we have surpassed 2 terrabytes of download. (something none of us foresaw three years ago, and for which to you we say thank you) He is asking for a little help - Now lets consider this 1500 registered members -- everyone chips in a pound (or equivalent) and we keep going for a very long time!! so There is now a donate button - this isnt a begging letter, just use it as you can (IF you can) and help upkeep the site, and we will keep on hunting down new files, badgering modelers to build the models you have enjoyed and now live in your virtual hangars.
