A couple of old aircraft that I'd like for flight simming.
DH-83 Fox Moth
DH-84 Dragon.
Has anyone thought of constructing these?
I am sure that they'd be popular?
A quick think -
There's a DH-84 Dragon Rapide been around for ages - by Dave Garwood and available at his home base - CBFSim.net in the library.
Not looked for a Fox Moth although coincidentally, it was the first aircraft I ever flew in.

Hoo- this could turn into a long list on a sticky thread. A new Sunderland. a Shetland. Walrus. Seagull (The ASR.I) Sturgeon.
Hornet/SeaHornet( Whats the Alpha one like?). A new Seafire47/Seafang/Attacker. And thats just the list from the 'right' side of the pond. Never mind somthing like the Tradewind, or a new P6M.
Sighs. But I'd recently bought FSDS. Havn't had it out of the box yet. I'll have to see if I have more luck with that, then I did with GMAX (even speaking the name pushes my blood pressure into the lethal range...)
mike.
It might have been me asked for a Fox Moth. I have mentioned it before, and it would certainly be welcome.
I've only just noticed that Frank Elton's Hornet and Leopard Moths have the twisting undercarriage strut/airbrake which someone commented on in the recent Puss Moth.
Rats! Why won't anything work properly first time?
I know very well that there are Dragon/Rapide/Dominies around. These are the DH-89 model. The DH-84 preceeded these and are, of course, lower powered.
One aircraft that I was lucky to find, was the DH-86 Express. I disagreed with the panel however and use the DH-89 panel in my own examples.
One thing about the DH-83 and the DH-84. At least the sound file will be easy.

Ha-har,now wer're talking.
I mean with the Seafire F/FR.47,Seafang or better yet a Seafire XVII!!!
There have been rumblings in dialogue I've had with someone we know
about a Seafire XVII or 46/47,I know he's practicing with a new "toy"
so to speak.
He has made a cracking job of another Classic naval fighter(clue:I did a lot of the
test flying with it).

My wish list would include the Percival Q3 Petrel and a DH86 Express that does'nt have overscale wrinkly tin fuselage corrugations and rigging wires that would have capsized the Titanic.
