I like that one!!!!!.

The RealAir XIV eh?,proper monster is that.

If anyone hasn't had a go in it then I must urge you to do so,it's one of my
favorite display mounts.

How do you fly it Quentin?,full realism,no auto rudder, etc?.
It can be a real handfull(as was the original)with that Griffon's urge.

I tend to take off using +6 to +8@2850 revs(full left rudder trim wound on) and then display it using +4@2500(the Griffon doesn't rev like a Merlin).
She needs plenty of top rudder in a topside pass and to keep the nose up in turns(big heavy engine).
The rate of roll is slightly slower with the clipped c wing than a clipped b wing Mk V(because of that big Griffon)as is the rate of turn.
It's the acceleration and rate of climb that I love with it,it leaves a Merlin 60/70 series
engined MkIX or XVI standing.

Good stuff matey.

BTW,really nice landing too,but get the flaps up ASAP once she's slowed, you'll soon
overheat that lovely big Griffon.

Thank you Mark!!

I don't fly with full realism, I think it's less realistic (about 2/3), and of course no auto rudder!

I love this aircraft too...

I'm glad you enjoyed the video...but sorry if my English isn't perfect (I'm French haha )!

Hope to see you soon!

I only use 2/3rds too,(95%-ish)full right is too much apparently, more like arcade mode.

Try a 60/70series Merlin engined Mk XVI chum, pretty nice.

Ne vous inquiétez pas de votre anglais sociable, mon français n'est pas si chaud!!

Hi Quentin,

Very nice video. I managed to watch it in 720 HD full screen which isn't usually possible with my connection.

Excellent choice of music as well. I look forward to future productions. You can never have enough Spitfires!

As Mark knows my prefered FSX Spit is the A2A Spit Mk1A. In fact you've inspired me to get it out of the hanger now.
