If anyone hasn't had a go in it then I must urge you to do so,it's one of my
favorite display mounts.
How do you fly it Quentin?,full realism,no auto rudder, etc?.
It can be a real handfull(as was the original)with that Griffon's urge.
I tend to take off using +6 to +8@2850 revs(full left rudder trim wound on) and then display it using +4@2500(the Griffon doesn't rev like a Merlin).
She needs plenty of top rudder in a topside pass and to keep the nose up in turns(big heavy engine).
The rate of roll is slightly slower with the clipped c wing than a clipped b wing Mk V(because of that big Griffon)as is the rate of turn.
It's the acceleration and rate of climb that I love with it,it leaves a Merlin 60/70 series
engined MkIX or XVI standing.
Good stuff matey.
BTW,really nice landing too,but get the flaps up ASAP once she's slowed, you'll soon
overheat that lovely big Griffon.
