I have recently downloaded a program called the World of A1 aircraft which supposed to install A1 aircraft but can not make head or tail of the thing. Could someone please advise me. have I got the right program and if so how to use it.

The few AI a/c I have are put in the normal places for 'flyable' ones. What one needs to do also is to set the amount of Traffic one has during set up, if this setting is too low then they will not apprear. One needs also to find out what program (timewise & location) is set for the various AI a/c. Traffic tools program is good for finding that out (forgot where I d/l ed that, but think its Microsoft, try Googling).

Do a google search for world of ai aircraft it will come back with pages and pages on requirements, trouble shooting, installing, etc etc etc, even where to get the add on flight plans and aircraft plus they have their own forums.

Seek and ye shall find.
