I am pleased to announce that the Percival Q6 Petrel has been uploaded & is available in the 'Latest files', or the Civil Aircraft category.
Please be sure to read the notes before flying, otherwise do not grouse if you have take off problems!
Happy landings
Keith

MickM, Sorry I didn't say on the intro, but like all my others its for FS9 (2004), but it will port over to FSX with a couple of exceptions/modifications.

Thanks Keith,

For the reply, and also for the plane.

These days I never assume that something new will work in FS9 anymore. I fear we are a declining breed.

Keith,
many thanks for this elegant aeroplane. If she flies half as well as she looks, I think I've just downloaded my mount for next year's Great Australian Air Rally.

Yes, she is a very elegant design, typical of the Edgar Percival & Arthur Bage co-operation (Mew Gull, Vega Gull...).
I would not be surprised if Peter W does not produce an Oz reg paint for your race!
Or you can wait for the retractable version thats underway at the moment! (It'll be a new year release methinks!)
Have fun

Greatly enjoying the Petrel, but have had an alarming experience on a longer flight, when, despite both generator switches being set to "ON", I noticed the voltage steadily dropping (can't understand why my co-pilot hadn't alerted me to this - it's her side of the panel ). On investigating the aircraft.cfg file I found the line "engine_generator_map= 0,0". Should this have been "engine_generator_map= 1,1"?
