Scratchbuilt

#27812 3 years ago
Hi Leif and all....
For over 50 years I have been making solids which I started in 1953. Here are some. Due to my second country being Italy, I have a special feeling for the great Regia Aeronautica of the old days, but I do make models of other aircraft too....

Solid Mahogany SM-81

Breda 25.....Italy´s PT-17

The Engine...Plaster of Paris

B-18, Bolo...

RO-1, Ethiopian Campaign 1935

RO-1

CAproni-73...Should be finished in about two weeks.

If you guys like them, I´ll send more pics further on....if anyone interested on the steps to make one, I´have a complete set.

Cheers.

Hello Gera.

Those are superb.Italian machinery isn't really my bag,but I'm always
very impressed by the modeller that can take a piece of wood and create
an aeroplane from it.

Thanks guys, its just a modeling technique, assembling platics models is also a challenge if you really want to produce a top notch model, besides with practise anyone can make anything.......let me look for some british models, take a pic and upload it here......
