Before the USAF and US Army started "acquiring" Soviet aircraft for evaluation during the 1950s and 1960's, the USAAF was acquiring aircraft of the Axis and Allied powers during WWII. After the war, they had a touring airshow of the USAAF's Foreign aircraft and some of the great aircraft that won the war. This film was uploaded recently of an airshow at Freeman Army Air Field in Indiana. There is quite a collection of airplanes, including some I didn't know we'd acquired like the Ju-290 Condor.

The Ju290 was a very capable maritime strike and recce aircraft for it's day. It's sibling, the Ju390, had six engines. Only two prototypes of the Ju390 were built.
