An Il-2 Shturmovik has been restored in Russia and is flying,wow.

If anyone can "Pa Ruski"and give us a translation then that'd be great
but in the meantime,here she is:

She's different alright.

At about 3.42 where she's growling along over the Steppes,
you half expect to see a 109 come screaming in with cannon blazing!!.

She just needs a couple of La-5FN's/Yak 3's alongside to provide escort cover.

My pleasure Scott.

You know I do like to keep an ear to the ground with the Historic aviation scene
to try and bring us all snippetts like that.

Just researching something that has come to the public light over the past few
days concerning a very famous RAF bomber baron and his nav who were killed
under circumstances that were a little odd.
The new information is very interesting to say the least.
