Description:

FS2004. - FRED stands for 'Flying Runabout Experimental Design'.  An aircraft that can built using normal materials and stored at home. Designed in 1963 by Eric Clutton.  Still available as a set of plans  and can be flown in the UK. and the USA.  This is an idea of how it looked in 1970.

Mark Polles 2011-11-02 13:29:14 A FRED was the very last type to fly from Stoke-on-Trent's Meir Aerodrome back in the early 70's before the 'drome closed.
